Parents, carers and the community

As a parent or carer, you are an important part of our school community. We offer a range of services to support you and your family.

Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C)

Our Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) is made up of parents and carers, teachers and community members. The P&C meets regularly to contribute to decision-making, developing policies and management plans as well as fundraising.

P&C at Camden South

Camden South Public School prides itself on a strong , dedicated and close knit community. The P&C committee have been an integral part of the school and have driven many of our fundraising events.

We are very thankful for the efforts of our P & C  committee over the years and enjoy a variety of facilities throughout the school as a result of their dedication.

Every class is now equipped with air conditioning and state of the art interactive whiteboards. In addition to this,  staff and students enjoy access to a multi purpose court area. These are just some of the invaluable contributions the P&C have made over the years.

The P & C welcome new members and are always looking for  parents  who are able to volunteer their time to support the many activities that are available at CSPS.

A Welcome From The P&C

Parents, as partners in the education process, have a right and a responsibility to play an active role in the education of their children.

P&C is a gathering of parents of children at Camden South Public School who wish to be involved in the education of their children through participation in the P&C meetings.

Meetings are conducted on Wednesday evenings week 2, 6 and 10 each term starting at 7:00pm. The committee of the P&C meet to discuss issues concerning children and their parents. The school Principal attends each meeting as the conduit to the staff at the school.

There are often special presentations held during P&C meetings to showcase special programs or new educational processes for the information of parents and guardians.

If you wish to attend these meetings you may just turn up on any night. Only financial members of the P&C may vote on issues raised, but any person in attendance may participate in the discussions.

P&C Student Assistance

The P&C are committed to supporting students of  CSPS in their endeavours representing the school at regional and state levels. If you require financial assistance in meeting the individual levies, please pick up an application form from the office and submit your request. The P&C will contribute up to 25% of the levy incurred.
